AMP Energy Drink re-commits to Kasson Speedway for 2008. For the second season AMP Energy drink will sponsor the "AMP Dash" at the speedway. This season AMP will support the Modified division weekly  A new program was created to attempt to get the cash in the hands of drivers that don’t often see the winners circle in the main event and spread the purse out a bit. It is our opinion that too many of today’s purse structures are way too "Top Loaded."

The "AMP Dash" will consist of a 6 lap sprint race consisting of the six drivers that qualified just out of the redraw or 9^th - 14^th. The winner of the race will pick-up a check for $100 , a trip to victory lane and earn the 9^th starting spot in the "A" Main. The remaining drivers will also have the ability to improve their starting spot in the "A" main, as positions 9-14th will be set by the finishing order of the Dash, hopefully ensuring an exciting race.
